The Nordic Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring was founded by Lisa Cooper to create a solid knowledge-base and network for mentoring practices in the social context of the Nordic countries.
Launched in November 2019, the Nordic Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring aims to strengthen the evidence base for promising practices in the Nordic mentoring field.
Learning from our partners in North America and Europe, the Nordic Center focuses especially on mentoring in the context of the Nordic model welfare states. We strive to make our findings more accessible to the field and increase practitioners’ skills and knowledge in applying evidence-based practice to their work. To further this goal, the Center has developed an online resource to share new findings and encourage conversation and evidence-informed practice in the field of mentoring.
